Simlish Cover Songs to listen to while playing the new Sims update by Dylanna Fisher

The Sims is a simulated world where you can live and love and have cats and make money and the ever-hilarious woohoo (a sim euphemism). It’s a wondrous world of complete creation where you can be a soft, loving, and caring god that provides pizza for every meal or an evil mean god that kills off a family simply to have a haunted house. It’s a sweet and relaxing, sometimes dramatic, simulation video game. Regardless of the morality of the creator, it’s a game of free and open creation.

The Sims have a radio like any simulated world would have. It’s got its music soundtrack (as do all video games). From the start, it’s had a form of instrumental soundtracks, including an upbeat salsa for the loading screen and several classical orchestral soundtracks for the creative build mode. A whole list of the music in the Sims is available on the Sims wiki. The songs they play from Sims 2 onward mimic the songs of our world but in Simlish or Sims English. So it’s bizarre because it’s songs in a gibberish language. But they’re good.

There is a large assortment of songs from a range of artists. Seriously, there is a lot. (To clarify, this article is just the songs used in the Sims franchise. The other kinds of Simlish covers will be looked at in another article). Some of these songs include “Manos al Aire” by Nelly Furtado and “Double Vision” by 3oh!3, “Some Chords” by Deadmau5, “Ever Seen This” by Aceyalone and RJD2, “Saturday Night” by Jessica Mauboy.
