Here’s where it all kind of started. Throughout high school, YouTube was my go-to for playing music. Most importantly it was how I found new music. Starting on a homepage recommendation, I would go through music videos on YouTube using just the suggestions along the side. This brought me to a lot of new and fantastic bands. In the YouTube suggestions, I eventually found Punk Goes…, a compilation album series, specifically a compilation of punk covers. The first song that I found was a cover of Gotye’s song, “Somebody That I Used to Know” by Mayday Parade featuring Vic Fuentes of Pierce the Veil.
